With a degree in Fine Art, a major in photography, and five years experience teaching art, Wendy Perry decided to put her creativity and experience to good use. She has been hard at work designing original birth announcements, shower invitations, and thank you cards and caring for her children, ages three and one.
Wendy has been designing her own invitations for years. After ordering announcements for her second child online, Wendy decided it was time to share her creations.
"I had received several compliments on a shower invitation I designed for a friend. Then I realized a wonderful opportunity had presented itself. I could stay at home with my children, generate some income, and fuel my creative fires all at the same time."
A few months later Little Fingers, Little Toes was born. Wendy has several different announcements, invitations, and thank you cards from which her guests can choose. Many of images integrated into the announcement and invitation designs are toys that actually belonged to her children. She has a little story about all of them. Not only can you send a photograph of your precious little one to customize your announcement, you can even send in a swatch of cloth or wallpaper and Wendy will create a one of a kind announcement based on your child's nursery theme. Cara Calabrese is a work at home mom of two boys, Brian 3 and Andrew 2. She has been married to her husband, Chris, for 6 years. Prior to having Brian, she was an elementary teacher for 3 years. She knew that she always wanted to stay home to raise her kids.
