The baby's crying,
The phone is ringing,
Let me just sit down.
The oldest wants juice,
Oh, there's the doorbell,
There's stuff lying all around.
How did all this happen?
Are these kids really mine?
When did I grow up?
Am I running out of time?
Time to run,
Time to laugh,
Time to play a game.
Read a book,
Play with cars,
Oh, the laudnry's calling my name.
So many things that must be done.
Others I want to do.
Then of course, there's the children's wants...
the question is what do I do?
Hug and kiss,
Yell and scold,
Rock a baby to sleep.
Watch a video,
Wash and fold,
I still need to sweep.
At the end of the day when I stop and think,
Of everything I've done.
I kow not a minute was wasted,
no not a single one.
