We are currently seeking submissions in the following topic areas:
- Mom-Related Articles
This is a general area open to topics related in some way to mothering.
- Personal Experience Essays/Stories
This is where you share creative expression of your own personal experiences, responses, and ponderings. No one else can tell it from your perspective. What has worked for you? What has flopped? What fortunes or tragedies have befallen you as a mom? What do you do to keep the romance in your marriage? How do you juggle home and business? Be real and talk about life where you are.
- Mom Humor
Every mom needs to break for laughter. Share your funny stories, experiences, and kid-sayings.
- Inspirational/Devotional Pieces
Every mom needs inspiration (sometimes hourly!). Reaching and inspiring moms is what JustForMom is all about.
- Shorts
Sometimes it's the little things that grab a mom's attention and give her just the lift she needs. Send us your short pieces,
mothering anecdotes, and brief ponderings.
- Book, Product, or Web Resource Reviews
What mom-related books, products, or web resources have helped you most? Share why you would recommend a particular
resource and include all pertinent information. Suggested resources might include items to make mom feel special, mom-related

- Use your imagination!
Got a topic you feel moms want/need to explore? Let us know! We are open to the creative ideas and suggestions of our visitors and potential writers, so please feel free to contact us if you have an idea to share other than what has been outlined in the guidelines.
SUBMISSION TIPS:
The Just For Mom team strives to provide high quality resources for moms. Our editors receive numerous submissions, and your
story/article will stand a much better chance of being accepted for publication if you note the following tips before submitting:
Proof your article/story fully. Thoroughly check for spelling, punctuation, grammar, and sentence structure. Be detailed and
descriptive. Bring the reader into your world. Remember that while it can be tempting to quickly send out a first draft, thorough revision can mean the difference between adequate and great. Your writing deserves dedicated effort and attention.
Do not send submissions written exclusively in upper- or lower case letters.
Do not send submissions containing "net/chatspeak" expressions/abbreviations ("LOL", etc.) or emoticons ("smilies", etc.).
Obtain a read-through/proof from at least one objective reader before submitting.
Include a short introduction of your article or story and of yourself in your e-mail.
